EVALUATION
good athlete in space - initiates solid contact at the point of attack - good frame to build on; room to add muscle mass - burst off the edge; good first step - nice closing speed; flies to the ball - extremely raw in pass rush; needs to develop moves & refine technique; great athletic potential as a stand-up edge rusher - disruptive in the backfield; long limbs and athleticism help create havoc off the edge; gets in the QBs grill and disrupts his line of sight - displays ability to drop into coverage; plays zone pretty well - good movement skills; stays active in plays but occasionally gets a little 'antsy' and can be baited out of position or into taking false steps; change of direction ability helps in recovery - does a good job attacking the ball under control; breaks down, chops feet, anchors in and makes the tackle; does need to work on getting lower in some of those instances (tendency to tackle high on shorter players) - plays with a good motor & determination - quicker running backs can catch him flat-footed and burst by him; athletic & quick enough to still make a play at HS level - takes good angles to the ball - would like to see him work to disengage blocks a little quicker - really good natural athlete with raw technique; high ceiling
