EVALUATION
- selected to the 2020 Shrine Bowl
- great frame; long athlete; room for added muscle mass - good first step; burst off the line - a little raw technically but size & athleticism typically overwhelms whoever lines up across from him - wraps up when he tackles; ideal length off the edge gives him advantage over blockers - has raw, natural power & strength - value in pass rush but is more productive in run support right now; sets a hard edge; creates a lot of opportunities for TFL with explosiveness & athleticism; anticipates runs well & closes on the ball carrier quickly - experience playing with a hand in the dirt in three or four man front; commands a double team out of an odd front; ability to bully his way thru double teams and effect the play - needs continued work on flexibility to help improve his bend in pass rush; plays with a high pad level too often - high-ceiling player with loads of potential; as of right now, I like him at the SDE position in an even front due to his consistently effective production vs the run; athleticism and body type translate to ER position too but want to see more development in the technical aspects of his pass rush before labeling him as such; but he does have the versatility to play on either side of the ball in an even or odd front - best football is ahead of him
