»» Willis is both a tremendous athlete & extremely raw quarterback prospect. His film shows the ability to make the necessary throws an NFL QB needs to make but not consistently. Some positive attributes to his game are his incredible character, intangibles, ability to make plays with his legs, ball velocity, timing his releases based on route and overall arm strength is above average.

But there are a lot more inconsistencies (rather than negatives) to him as well. These include post-snap diagnosis, hesitation from the pocket, staring down receivers, aiming passes, throwing mechanics & footwork fundamentals, finishing throws with wrist causing wobbly balls down the field, throwing with touch and so on and so on.

The tools are there for Willis to find some semblance of success or more at the NFL level, but there is a lot of work to be done with him still and there are no guarantees. Of all the QB prospects in this draft, and maybe all prospects combined, Willis has the highest ceiling and lowest floor.
