Clemson Basketball May Have Another Player Returning

Coach Brad Brownell and the Tigers may be bringing more players back to the hardwood for another season at Clemson than we originally thought.

We have confirmed through sources that David Skara could return to the program.

Skara announced in April that he planned to pursue a professional career overseas, closer to his home in Croatia. Yet he did not sign with an agent, leaving him eligible to return to college. He would return to play as a graduate student, after graduating in May.

If Skara chose to return to school, Brad Brownell would be bringing back a forward who averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 42.3 percent from the field.

The biggest key to bringing Skara back would be his defensive abilities returning. Coming off the Sweet 16 appearance last season, the Tigers will be projected as one of the top teams in both the conference and the country. Skara’s defensive effort will be helpful for Clemson as they face off with some of the top talent in the game.
