ACL Tear Sidelines Clemson Wide Receiver

CLEMSON, SC -- Early Tuesday morning it was reported by TigerNet that wide receiver, Amari Rodgers, was carried off the practice field with a leg injury during Monday's practice.


Rodgers quote tweeted the article release saying, "God gives his toughest soldiers the toughest tasks.. I'll be back better than ever, believe that."


The MRI reports came out Tuesday afternoon, revealing that Rodgers did indeed tear his ACL. It was first reported by Larry Williams of TigerIllustrated.com on his twitter account.


According to 247sports, he is expected to undergo surgery next Friday.
