Game 2 of the Clemson/Florida State series was a great day to be a fan in the outfield. Tigers and Noles were adamant about giving the fans at the game some souvenirs to take home.

There were a total of SEVEN home runs in the game and over 40 foul balls hit.

Clemson was able to even the series, defeating the Seminoles 12-7, to make Monday night's game a rubber match. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

The scoring started early in Sunday's afternoon bout between the Tigers and Seminoles. Florida State went yard twice in the top of the first inning giving them an early two run advantage.

Clemson was able to answer in the bottom half of the inning with Cromwell driving in two runs off a bases loaded single up the middle.

In the bottom of the second, Sam Hall hit a ball to left-center field that bounced out of the left fielders glove to give him a leadoff double. Logan Davidson would drive in Hall from second with a single RBI but would get thrown out at second with a bad base-running decision.

Reese Albert got the top of the third started like the first, hitting a solo shot to straightaway centerfield, tying the game up at three runs a piece.

In the bottom of the third, Beer got on with a single to right field. Chris Williams got on first by virtue of a fielding error by the third baseman. Grayson Byrd made sure to get both of them and himself to home plate, hitting a bomb to left field, giving the Tigers a 6-3 lead.

By the end of the fourth inning, Clemson was leading 9-4. And going into the fifth, there were SIX combined home runs and 31 foul balls. Not to mention, every Clemson player in the starting lineup had a hit at this point as well.

Two more runs crossed the plate for Clemson in the bottom of the fifth on a throwing error by the first baseman; Tigers extended their lead to 11-4.

Seth Beer added injury to insult with a solo home run towards the Cajun Cafe in right field, making it 12-4.

The Noles would score a run in the top of the seventh and two in the top of the eighth but couldn't do any more damage after that, giving Clemson a 12-7 win.

The Tigers are now 35-12 overall and 18-8 in ACC play.
