» Clemson moved to 4-1 all-time against Mississippi State after last night’s win and avenged its loss from the 2018-19 season, an 82-71 loss in the 2018 Never Forget Tribute Classic.
» Head Coach Brad Brownell won his 186th game at Clemson with the 53-42 win over Mississippi State and is now just 14 victories shy of the 200 mark.
» Coach Brownell is now 10-1 in season openers during his Clemson tenure.
» The Tigers held the Bulldogs to just 42 points in the season opener – marking the 48th time that has happened during the Brad Brownell Era. Clemson is 46-2 in such games and has won its last 25 contests allowing less than 50 points (25-0). The streak dates back to Feb. 17, 2013 (45-43 loss to Miami (Fla.).
