The Clemson Tigers have picked up their second commitment of the 2020 recruiting class. Sergio Allen, a four-star linebacker out of Fort Valley, GA, made his commitment on an unofficial visit with his mother on Thursday. Allen is measured at 6-1, 220 pounds.
According to 247sports, Allen is rated as the #3 overall Inside Linebacker, the 14th overall prospect in the state of Georgia and the 114th overall prospect in the country.
Earlier in the week, Allen picked up offers from Florida and Oregon. He received offers last year from Auburn, Alabama, Georgia and Georgia Tech.
Clemson's first 2020 commit came back on June 5 from in-state five-star defensive tackle Demonte Capehart out of Hartsville, SC.
Allen was a participant at the Rivals Camp Series in Atlanta back in April.
