CLEMSON, SC -- Isaiah Simmons finished the 2019 season as Clemson's leading tackler, racking up 102 total tackles. He also had 16 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three interceptions, eight pass break-ups, five quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble.
Simmons is viewed by most as a Top 10 prospect in the 2020 draft class. He is a freak athlete with great speed, length and athleticism. He is a virtual lock to get drafted in one of the top 15 picks.
Before the 2019 season, Simmons verbally stated that this would be his last season of college football.
On Saturday evening, he made the decision to declare for the NFL Draft official with a social media post.
On Thursday evening, Simmons posted on his Instagram that he was in Newport Beach, CA which is home to a few sports agencies, most famously Steinberg Sports Entertainment who currently represents Aaron Jones (Packers RB), Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs QB) and others.
