The Draft Network's Brad Kelly put out an article on Wednesday in which he ranked the 'Top 5 WR Corps in College Football.'

His rankings went like this...

5. USC

4. Ohio State

3. Clemson

2. Michigan

1. Alabama

In his statement on the Clemson group of receivers, he named Justyn Ross, Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers, Diondre Overton, and Frank Ladson Jr. as the 'Main Contributors' for the Tigers. A solid list of names, no doubt. But he failed to mention one name that has had coaches, fans, and the media buzzing throughout the early portion of fall camp.

Joseph Ngata.

Ngata has received tremendous praise early in his Clemson career and hasn't taken a single collegiate snap as of yet. He enrolled early in the spring and made his presence known right away. After the Tigers' first scrimmage on Saturday, Swinney named Ngata as the most consistent freshman alongside Tyler Davis (freshman defensive tackle).

After Monday's practice, Dabo was asked if Ngata would be a contributor right away and without a second of hesitation he stated, "No question. No doubt. Nooo doubt. He learned everything in the spring and carried it into the summer. He's proven he can handle it.[...] He's just one those guys that could play all three positions. He's long, technically very advanced. He's going to be a great player."

He also went on to say that Ngata is one of the hardest workers he has ever coached, and that includes seniors.

Ngata wasn't rated as highly in recruting rankings as Ladson was but is going to be a huge factor in the Clemson offense this season.

Here is the excerpt on Clemson's WR corp from Kelly's article...

"WRU" has a loaded wide receiver group once again, headlined by true sophomore Justyn Ross and true junior Tee Higgins. As a true freshman last season, Ross finished with 1,000 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. Higgins, who is draft-eligible for 2020, posted 12 touchdowns and has the potential of a Day 2 selection.

Beyond the top two, primary slot receiver Amari Rodgers actually outproduced upperclassmen Hunter Renfrow last season. Diondre Overton, another tree alongside of Ross and Higgins, pitched in 14 receptions last season and should be in line for more reps this year. Top 40 overall recruit Frank Ladson Jr. gives the Tigers talented depth.
