CLEMSON, SC -- Travis Etienne finished the 2019 season with 1,614 rushing yards on 207 carries (7.8 yard per attempt) and 19 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 37 passes for 432 yards and FOUR touchdowns.
Etienne (4,038) broke Raymond Priester’s Clemson record for career rushing yards (3,966) and became the first 4,000-yard career rusher in Clemson history. He joined C.J. Spiller and Sammy Watkins as the only players in school history to produce 5,000 career all-purpose yards.
He also rushed for a touchdown in his ninth straight game in the National Championship to tie the school record shared by Lester Brown (1978), Terry Allen (1988-89) and James Davis (2005-06).
A few more of his outstanding achievements include...
most 200+ yard games in program history (3)
tied for most 100+ yard games in program history (17 - Wayne Gallman)
Most rushing touchdowns in ACC history (56)
Career total touchdowns in ACC history (62)
...and the beat goes on and on.
On Friday, he made the decision to return to Clemson for his senior season!
